Dixylne Disulphide (Reclaiming Agent) Is The Raw Material Used For Making Reclaim Rubber Which Acts As A Catalyst The Process Of Making Reclaim Rubber. Any Kind Of Rubber (Vulcanized Rubber Scrap) Whether Synthetic Rubber Or Natural Rubber Can Be Reclaimed (De-Vulcanised) By The Use Of This Chemical.
Function:
Dixylene Disulphide is an effective reclaiming agent for natural and synthetic rubber scrap and its blends. Dixylene Disulphide decreases the danger of cyclization, It makes the process of de-vulcanisation of rubber faster that too at a lower temperature & therefore reduces power consumption of rubber reclaiming plant, shortens reclaiming time, improve the efficiency of plant, rubber can be reclaimed or de-vulcanised at a lower temperature, saves the intake of fuel, improves the quality of resulting reclaim rubber and risk of hardening is reduced.
Usage:
Dixylene Disulphide is usually blended into the reclaimed oil first and then added to the rubber. This helps to penetrate the rubber assuring better devulcanization and smoother reclaim. It is advisable to use finely ground scrap and to allow this to swell for at least 12 hours following the addition of Dixylene Disulphide and reclaim oil. Both can be blended before being sprayed on the scrap.
